UBABA EP is the most recent extended play from the South African music group named Urban Village. The Soweto based artistes who are currently signed with Nø Førmat! record label which is (home to Oumou Sangaré, Blick Bassy & Mélissa Laveaux).
The black South Africans who are mainly into traditional Zulu music has its artistes n=born and brought up in Soweto Town towards the end of Apartheid.
The singers who make up the music group include guitarist Lerato Lichaba, singer/flautist Tubatsi Mpho Moloi, bassist Simangaliso Dlamini and drummer Xolani Mtshali.
Urban Villa’s new music, UBABA is a 4 song project which has it’s hit single bearing the same name with album. Ubaba which translates to father has it’s own dedicated video produced by Justice Mkheli.
